Il due volte campione Olimpico David Wise ha stabilito un nuovo record: 11,7 metri di altezza raggiunti in quarterpipe.
L’americano ha stabilito il nuovo record all’Audi Nines (QUI) dopo solamente due giorni che utilizzava la struttura.
David dice “I can’t say enough for the crew out here, from the Schneestern guys and Sölden to the whole Audi Nines team, because this is a team effort,” said Wise. “I get to be the guy who gets the highest air, but I could not have done it alone”
Il vecchio record era di una delle icone del freeski mondiale: Simon Dumont che ha stabilito il primo record (10,8 metri) con un cork 900 in quarterpipe.
