Gaastra was established in 1897 and progression is our addiction. Always was and will be!
In windsurfing Gaastra is a renowned market leader since 1980 with a stunning records in and off the water. Big names of the sports history like Robby Naish, Pete Cabrinha, Pascal Maka, Robert Teriitehau, Matt and Kevin Pritchard and many more joined the brand and led the sport.
As one of the first brands ever Gaastra applied to kitesurfing in 2001, launched as a big player and ever since pushed the limits.

We will follow the spirit of the time and update the brand logo “Gaastra” into the new modern “GA” logo!
We will not leave behind our roots and history, but in tribute to globalisation and our international relations we will take-off into a new era.
