Ieri pomeriggio a Sylt in Germania è terminato il double elimination Freestyle e Yentel Caers dopo una splendida rimonta nel Double Elimination si aggiudica la seconda posizione per la gara e diventa il nuovo Campione del Mondo Freestyle, per la seconda volta nella sua carriera.
In queste due giornate di freestyle abbiamo assisto ad un gran bello spettacolo ed esattamente al freestyle che ci piace vedere, vento side on shore mure a sinistra con buone rampe su cui fare le hi big move, basta pensare che Yentel in una delle sue 9 heat consecutive per la sua rimonta, ha pure messo a segno un doppio Forward… in una gara di freestyle!
L’evento tedesco è stato vinto dal più giovane in gara: Lennart Neubauer, 19 anni (che si laurea anche vice-campione del mondo).
Da segnalare anche l’ottima prestazione di Jacopo Testa, quinto classificato e autore di heat tecniche e precise, un atleta davvero molto costante!
Il veterano Steven Van Broeckhoven con un solido terzo posto.
Ora tutti gli occhi puntati sullo Slalom in cui Matteo Iachino al momento si trova in seconda posizione e poi al wave che dovrebbe andare in scena giovedì e venerdì. Stay tuned!
