Il MASTER OF THE OCEAN è la competizione annuale che si svolge nella Repubblica Domenicana dal 22 al 27 febbraio a Cabarete e Encuentro beach. La gara è giunta alla sua dodicesima edizione, rientrando nella gare più longeve al mondo, la più ambita da tutti gli amanti del sport acquatici, la più completa in assoluto, 4 discipline: kitesurf, windsurf, surf e stand up paddle che si sfidano per la vetta del podio.
Originariamente concepito come l’ IRONMAN degli sport acquatici, il MASTER OF THE OCEAN è stato creato da waterman tedesco Marcus Bohm nel 2003, con l’idea di fornire un’opportunità per i local domenicani di competere fianco a fianco con riders professionisti internazionali.
