Starboard Severne Aloha Classic, la lista degli iscritti

Manca solo più una settimana all’inizio della Starboard Severne Aloha Classic AWT e PWA. Qui di seguito il programma della gara e le iscrizioni al AWT tra cui troviamo anche alcuni nostri connazionali: Federico Infantino e Ferdinando Loffreda nella sezione Pro, Nicola Cavicchini in quella Amateur, Andrea Della Rosa nei Grand Master. The 2014 Severne Starboard Aloha Classic Is Coming…

The stage is set for the final event of the AWT – the Severne Starboard Aloha Classic – where the 2014 champions will be crowned at Ho’okipa Beach Park, Maui, between the 29th October and 11th November 2014.

Over 100 riders from more than 20 different countries have already registered and over the two weeks will compete against each other in the pro, amateur, master, grand master, youth and women’s fleets for the honor of becoming the Aloha Classic Champions.

The American Windsurfing Tour has already visited Santa Cruz, Pistol River, Peru, Baja and Hatteras this year – these events producing incredible conditions setting the stage for the Maui finale.In the pro fleet it is a three horse race for the title, with Kevin Pritchard, Morgan Noireauxand Levi Siver sitting in first, second and their respectively going into the Starboard Severne Aloha Classic. Whilst KP has the lead, if Siver’s previous form is anything to go by he could be tough to beat and could still walk away with the title.In the women’s fleet it is Ingrid Larouche is in the driving seat, but 17-year-old Fiona Wylde is hot on her heels and could certainly steal her crown.After the AWT competition the top pro riders will join the PWA as they also hold their final wave tour stop and crown the 2014 world champions. The two-week competition period will not only be full of nail-biting action on the water, but a whole host of activities off the water too.

FRIDAY 7th, 7 PM > Goya/Quatro/MFC Pauwela Cannery Party

SATURDAY 8th, 9 PM > Rock Show at Casanovas Sand Grenades, $5

SUNDAY 9th, 7-11 PM > Formal Closing Ceremony, King Kamehameha Golf Club

Ciao a tutti, sono Fabio Calò (ITA-720), ho iniziato a fare windsurf all’età di 13 anni e da quel momento è diventata la mia più grande passione, la mia vita. Finiti gli studi universitari ho iniziato a lavorare in un negozio di windsurf a Torino, poi agente di commercio e nel 2006 è iniziata la mia grande avventura con la redazione di 4Windsurf e poi anche di 4Sup. Sono stato campione italiano Wave di windsurf nel 2013 e 2015, altri ottimi risultati agonistici gli ho ottenuti anche nel freestyle sia in Italia che in Europa. Dal 2017 sono il direttore di una delle scuole più importanti del Lago di Garda, il PierWindsurf. Trasmetto la mia passione con progetti dedicati ai giovani come il Progetto Serenity di Malcesine, e organizzo Wave Clinics nel periodo invernale. Vivo a Torbole sul Garda e respiro l’aria del windsurf 365 giorni all’anno.
