Gli atleti Spencer Paxson, Connor Fearon e Graham Agassiz, tutti in forza a Kona, si sono trovati in cima al Retallack Lodge’s Reco Peak, ognuno in sella a una selezione delle gamma di full suspended Process, con il coltello fra i denti per conquistare il punteggio più alto sullo spettacolare singletrack lungo 16 km e con oltre 1.800 m di dislivello negativo.

L’obiettivo finale era capire quale combo atleta-bici sarebbe stato quello vincente, in mano a biker di diversa estrazione e approccio alle ruote artigliate. Sarà Paxson su una Process 111 con ruote 29er e travel limitato a poco più di 100 mm? Oppure Fearon sulla super capace Process 134, con ruote 27,5″ e poco più di cinque pollici alla ruota posteriore? O ancora Aggy sulla robusta Process 153 da 6″ e con ruote sempre da 27,5? E chi riuscirà a portare al limite la Process 167, pensata per i bike park e con ruotine da soli 26″?
