The Windsurfing Euro-Cup is celebrating a great return on the international competition scene. The continental tour for the disciplines Racing and Slalom offers an impressive tour calendar for the season 2015. With seven events in six different countries all over Europe and a total prize money of € 70.000,00 the Windsurfing Euro-Cup is a major attraction for many competitors. Additionally the Windsurfing Euro-Cup is the official series leading to the IFCA Slalom European Slalom Championship title.

The tour kicks off with the Windsurfing Euro-Cup in Torbole, Lake Garda (Italy) from April 23rd to 26th. Lake Garda is the perfect venue to start the competition season. Located in the middle of Europe, it offers easy access for competitors from all directions. In Spring the thermical wind guarantees great slalom conditions. € 5.000,00 prize money add some nice pepper for the slalom racers.

From May 13th to 17th the Windsurfing Euro-Cup heads to the North Sea to visit the Summer Opening on Germanys famous island Sylt. The Summer Opening is one of the biggest Windsurfing Events in Germany with about 80.000 spectators over 6 days. The event offers both disciplines, Formula Windsurfing and Slalom. With a total of € 10.000,- prize money it is interesting for several racers to come to this event.

At the Windsurfing Euro-Cup Bol at Zoo-Station (Croatia) the competitors can enjoy the warm Adriatic Mediterranean Sea from June 16th to 21st. 15 to 20 knots of sideshore wind are the regular conditions in June. Therefore it makes sense to concentrate on this discipline. € 10.000,00 prize money will make the trip a worthy experience.

The Highlight of the Windsurfing Euro-Cup Tour 2015 is the IFCA Slalom World Championship at the Volvo Surf Cup on Sylt from July 21st to 26th. This event is not only offering a prize money budget of € 15.000,00 but also the prestigous official IFCA Slalom World Championship title. This will call the elite of slalom racers to Sylt. They will be welcomed by a giant event. Every year the Volvo Surf Cup calls up to 120.000 spectators to Sylt.

From Sylt the Formula racers will head directly onwards to Poland. The Lotto Windsurf Cup in Leba is one of Polands biggest windsurf events. The Polish crowds are eager to welcome the international racers at their beach from July 30th to August 1st. A prize money budget of € 5.000,00 makes the trip even more interesting for the competitors.

The Windsurfing Euro-Cup Silvaplana at the Engadinwind.com event will once again unite Slalom and Formula Racers from August 11th to 15th. The venue in Silvaplana is unique with mountains embracing the turquoise lake on an altitude of 1.800m above sea level. The famous Maloja wind blows warm Italian air from the the south. A prize money budget of € 10.000,00 will attract a strong fleet in quality and quantity.

The great final event of the Windsurfing Euro-Cup Tour 2015 will be in Turkey from August 25th to 29th. The Windsurfing Euro-Cup Göztepe in Urla-Izmir offers a prize money of € 15.000,00. At this event also the IFCA Slalom European Champion will be crowned.

The registration for the regattas of the Windsurfing Euro-Cup has been opened. Competitors who are interested to participate in the events of the series may now register on the official website www.euro-cup.org .

For 2015 the tour is finalized and no further events will be added. But while the preparations for the upcoming season are well on track, the Windsurfing Euro-Cup office is also putting the focus towards 2016. So events, organizers and venues who are interested to join the continental windsurfing tour for Racing and Slalom may contact the Windsurfing Euro-Cup office to apply for a tour stop in 2016.
