Il contest più atteso della stagione ASP 2014 è partito sotto condizioni meteo&surf non delle più favorevoli a supertubos: onde di 4 – 6 piedi ma con un vento dalla direzione sbagliata, proveniente da o-so, dal quale lo spot non è riparato (mentre è perfetto con N-O attivo, che entra quasi off-shore).
La giornata ha visto lo svolgimento del Round 1 con il completamento di tutte le heats (1-12). Nel frattempo però ci sono altri spot che lavorano al meglio attorno alla splendida penisola di Peniche, secche sulle quali l’onda entra formata e il vento off-shore.
